DWI: Hello and welcome to the first of the DWI Interviews Series. We are joined today by Junior Championship number one contender G.I. Jamm. It's nice to have you with us here today.

G. I. Jamm: Well thanks for having me on here today man I am really excited and honored to be the first one to do a DWI interview for the new website www.dwiprowrestling.com

DWI: Tell us about where you were trained and who you were trained by.

Jamm: Well I moved here on June 20th, 2010 to train with Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) with 20 other students for 3 months and it was some tough days and nights but I made it through (Laughing) and glad I made my dream come true. Only 16 graduated from the class on September 22nd, 2010 because some just couldn't handle the pressure and pain it takes to be a wrestler. Our trainers were former WCW Hardcore Champion Norman Smiley, Steve Keirn (Skinner in the WWF in the 90's) and some of the FCW wrestler would also come in and help out as well.

DWI: You're from North Carolina, a hotbed of wrestling, home to some of the biggest legends in the sport of professional wrestling. Who were your favorites while growing up?

Jamm: WOOOOOOOOOO (Laughing) Ric Flair of course, Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Randy Savage, Dusty Rhodes, Ricky ''The Dragon'' Steamboat, ''Superfly'' Jimmy Snuka, Bret ''Hitman'' Hart, 1-2-3 Kid, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels. I mean the list goes on and on man.

DWI: You were named the number one contender by winning a battle royal at the Gibtown Bikefest. Last month you had a match for the title against Wayne Wonder which went to a time limit draw. You have a match coming up May 15th at the Riverview Flea Market for the title against Wonder where if you lose you will not be able to challenge him for the title again. What have you got to put him away this time?

Jamm: You know, me and Wayne have some history people don't know about, we trained together at FCW last summer and were really good friends until I beat him at the FCW Beginners Class Showcase, I didn't see Wayne no more until December where we both participated in a UWF Battle Royal to determine a new #1 contender for the UWF Heavyweight Championship in December in Ruskin. I won both the Battle Royal and the Championship in the same night but my reign was cut short cause in January of this year he cost me the title. Next thing you know he shows up in DWI beats Devlin for the Jr. Championship taunting me for weeks making this more personal then ever, and like you said I stuck my foot in my mouth by saying I would not challenge for Jr. Championship again if I lose so I need this more then ever. All I can do is go out there and give it my all but I am not gonna go down easy this time he better bring his A Game and pack a lunch cause I am taking him to school.

DWI: Of course the man that Wayne Wonder defeated for the Junior title, one Anthony Devlin, has also laid claim to the number one contendership as the former champion. Why do you feel that you are more deserving of this opportunity?

Jamm: You know you have 30 days to claim a rematch for your title shot and when Devlin lost he blamed Guy the Franchise and Derek Le Sabre for the loss and focused the last month on those two guys, letting his title shot slip away. I did nothing but go to the board and tell them I wanted my title shot and they gave it to me for winning the battle royal so Devlin can be mad all he wants but its his fault he is out of the title picture.

DWI: And should you take the title from Wayne Wonder will you accept the challenge from Anthony Devlin?

Jamm: Of course I will. I'm not afraid to be a fighting champion. I beat Devlin before I can surely beat him again.

DWI: Moving away from the title discussion for a moment, you've been with us here at DWI since last year. In that time we've certainly seen you take on all comers. Who are some of your favorite opponents?

Jamm: D-Lo Jordan was tough. I beat him in his debut match in what people say was a great contest, Wayne has been tough the past few months but that is all about to change. (Laughing) Devlin is a tough guy also. You have to be in tip top shape to beat that guy. I wrestled Dirk Manning in his return match a few weeks back that match end in controversy but hey I got the win, haha. All my matches have been good and I'm looking forward to many more .

DWI: Is there anyone you haven't wrestled that you want a chance to prove yourself against?

Jamm: The only guy I can really think of is Donnie Able because he is coming along fast this guy made his debut back in December and has been on fire since thats one guy who has the Jr. Championship in his sights.

DWI: Lastly, we'd like to give you this opportunity to say anything to your fans, your upcoming oponents, or anyone else?

Jamm: Well first I have to thank God for giving me the talent to wrestle. Without Him I would be nothing He has been so good to me the past year and I know he has more in store for me. My parents and family for there love and support without you guys I would be nothing. To my friends back home in Henderson, North Carolina I love and miss you all. Don't worry, we gonna have that Mansion in Beverly Hills soon. (Laughing) The fans who come out each and every week to cheer me on; I love you all and its you guys who make us and break us so thank you once again. DWI for signing me to there Roster last year thank you Frank Reyes for believing in me and allowing me to do what I do best and thats wrestle. I love everybody and hopefully next time you see me I will be the NEW DWI JR. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION.
